Game Description
AWAKE puts the player in the place of Yusuf, a former member of the rescue forces, moving along the post -war landscape. The world governments fell, leaving behind the zones of total infection with deadly gases, radiation and unknown diseases, called the regions of awakening. Yusuf penetrates one of these territories, having received a distress signal, allegedly from his wife, who disappeared along with the child during the collapse of society a year ago.
He goes to these lands, where, according to rumors, to fall asleep means to never wake up again, led by the hope of finding his family. In the world of Awake, survival is built on a permanent cycle of battles and resource management. The destruction of opponents provides a gamer with a currency - a resource exchanged for the necessary equipment and supplies in the store. In addition, the materials collected in the environment can be used to create objects like bombs and first -aid kits.
To replenish the stock of ammunition and medication, players need to open wooden boxes and search chests with abandoned backpacks scattered along the locations. Opponents are diverse and numerous: from ordinary zombies and their shooting varieties to giant spiders and mutants moving on two legs or four hands. The player also faces more serious threats, including flying fire -breathing dragons and reasonable alien robots with laser weapons arrived to Earth.
