Babushka’s Glitch Dungeon offers the player to do methodical cleaning of a huge magical basement. Armed with a broom, the heroine sweeps dust, confronts the monsters and destroys insects surrounded. The protagonist also masters bright witch’s magic, fundamentally changing established rules. The study of the world involves the solution of puzzles and the detection of hiding places, while each creature has a unique mechanics that requires a special approach to overcome it.

This process is necessary to restore order in a confusing nonlinear location. Progress in Babushka’s Glitch Dungeon is achieved through multiple deaths. The character dies more than 100 times, which causes memory loss, but serves as a mechanism for studying dark magic. This surrealistic cycle in the project is the basis for navigation by dungeon and interaction with its unusual inhabitants. The key goal for the gamer is the discovery and liberation of elders imprisoned in crystals, using newly acquired abilities for their rescue from captivity and promotion in the plot.

The broom acts as the main tool, but the resulting magic adds new elements to this 2D platformer. These spells change the rules of the game, opening access to previously unattainable locations and offering solutions for riddles. Moving according to the interconnected basement requires the use of these skills for special interaction with the world. Ultimately, this game about cleansing of filth and salvation of captives leads to the complete elimination of the dungeon and, as a result, the whole world from damage.
