On the pirated version of Battlefield 2: Project Reality you can play online for free with a friend, participating in realistic online combat over the Internet. The project is a global modification for the game of the same name. The mod removes the interface from the screen: health, amount of ammunition, crosshairs, etc. are not shown. The online game has been rebalanced and almost all gameplay aspects of the original have been changed.

The interface only shows the number of cartridges. Messages about the murder are not displayed, and you can only get into the vehicle from the steering wheel. If you jump out of a moving tank, the character takes damage. The possibility of free online play allows you to fight in deathmatch mode or take part in team fights. The squad system has been preserved. The squads are made up of ordinary soldiers and commanders. Leaders give orders and coordinate the actions of subordinates.

Reconnaissance is carried out using a UAV reconnaissance aircraft. Commanders mark various objects and enemy positions on the map. Each target has its own type of marker. A full construction system is available. You can build forward posts to gain a tactical advantage over your opponents. Posts act as a respawn point. At bases there are supply boxes or boxes of ammunition. They are divided into light and heavy. Many different modern guns are presented. Irregular forces such as the Taliban, Hamas, Chechen militants, etc. - old equipment from the Second World War. Battlefield 2: Project Reality modes: Advance & Secure - capture control points on the map; Vehicle Warfare - battle on various armored vehicles; Skirmish - a simplified version of AAS; Command & Control - construction of forward posts and destruction of enemy ones; Co-Operative - cooperative game against bots; Insurgency - destruction of caches of weapons.
