Game Description

Battlefield 2042 is a tactical action game, the main conflict of which is the confrontation between Russia and the United States in the world of the near future. Humanity has exhausted almost all of the Earth’s resources. Now the mighty superpowers have entered the race for the planet’s last fossils. Germany lost ground and the EU collapsed. The world is in the midst of a Second Great Depression. The gameplay is a first-person shooter. There is no story campaign. There are only maps for single player play with bots. Battlefield 2042 places a huge emphasis on the network component. The possibility of competition of 128 participants simultaneously is presented.

Due to the increase in the number of participants, the maps have expanded. Locations have been increased in detail and their destructibility has increased. There are 7 unique maps available: Antarctica, Qatar, South Korea, India, Singapore, Guiana and Egypt. Natural disasters may occur. For example, a hurricane, tornado, sandstorm, etc. may arise. Weather conditions in Battlefield 2042 have a direct impact on gameplay and can provide a tactical advantage. Instead of classes, heroes now have the status of specialists.

There are 10 specialties to choose from. All characters are migrants from different countries. Depending on the choice of specialty, each hero has unique skills and weapons. Stormtrooper Webster McKay uses a grappling hook and has great speed. Medic Maria Falk heals allies from a distance using her pistol. Engineer Pyotr Guskovsky deploys turrets, and scout Wikus Van Diel can mark enemies with a drone. The multiplayer game includes 3 modes: Total War, Danger Zone and Classic Battles for Veterans.
