Game Description

In Beacon of Neyda, a failed robot uprising has left the world in ruins. The last handful of humanity are trying to leave lifeless lands patrolled by hostile automata. Players will have to guide survivors through abandoned areas, building temporary fortifications to protect against mechanical threats. The main task is to organize an exodus from the dead wastelands. Each location offers a new challenge in the ongoing struggle for the future of the remaining people, forced to survive in a world under the rule of their former servants.

Beacon of Neyda’s gameplay combines side-scrolling action with strategic defense and construction elements. You have to create and improve your base to repel the merciless waves of enemies. The building construction system is flexible, it allows you to place defensive structures in the right places to cover the vulnerable core of the outpost. The ultimate goal in each zone is to repair the main tower, thereby expanding the safe space for survivors. Success depends on the ability to balance between gathering resources and the need to strengthen key positions.

An important part of the game is exploring procedurally generated locations with dangerous environments. By traveling through these places, you can learn the history of the world and the events that led it to its current state, as well as reveal past secrets and deceptions. The project allows us to study new technologies to expand construction capabilities and improve protective structures. This progression system opens up access to more sophisticated strategies to combat the ever-present mechanical threat.
