Game Description

Berserk or Die puts the player in the position of the only survivor on the contested battlefield. The protagonist, being surrounded, opposes the endless stream of opponents advancing on the left and right sides of the two -dimensional space. It is impossible to advance forward, and the only way to move by location is to take attacks. The combat system reads the number of simultaneous keystrokes, transforming more of them into a blow with a wide area of defeat.

A series of consistent attacks accumulates power for one sweeping attack, while a separate scale of special receptions is filled, opening access to an even larger cleaning of the arena. The gameplay in Berserk or Die is built around a shift in the day and night, where every day experienced means a reflected enemy wave. During a night break from the battles, a lone merchant appears, ready to offer his goods. Gold, obtained from defeated enemies, can be exchanged for useful services, including restoration of health lost in the previous battle.

The assortment of the merchant also includes new relics and improvements for weapons, which gives the gamer the advantage in clashes with more persistent opponents in the later stages. This game offers to choose a fighter from a list of characters representing different historical eras. The arsenal represents a collection of guns for fighting, including such types of weapons as swords, large axes, katana and staff. Each item offers its own approach to restraining the advancing forces, and further advance depends on the ability to hold out from one dawn to another.
