Free online play in Blackout Protocol offers you the opportunity to protect and cover your teammates, as well as develop unique battle tactics to confront bloodthirsty monsters. An important mechanic is the level of panic. In the midst of battle, a character may get scared and go crazy. You need to take comfortable positions for combat, rest and heal. Enemies may also be prone to panic. In order to scare the monsters, it is necessary to use light, sound and psionic guns, as well as many other auxiliary devices.

At locations you can find credits, blueprints for new guns and equipment, various data that will help in battle, and much more. Exchange of resources and pumping take place in special shelters.
