There is a choice of characters and weapons. The fighting style depends on their combination. The scimitar is suitable for those who like to attack weakly but often, while the rapier is more designed for those who prefer to parry. You can jump, roll, perform combos. The battles are based on fencing, but not only blades are used in battles. For example, if you come close to an opponent, the hero will be able to grab the opponent and hit him with his knee. Blade Symphony has three fighting stances that differ in attack strength and speed. Namely: light, medium and heavy.

There is a training room with instruction for practicing techniques. However, the tutorial does not reveal the full depth of the local combat. The main emphasis is on multiplayer. The possibility of free online play includes several modes. Network play allows you to duel, fight for control of points, and also organize regular and team Deathmath. At the same time, the squad sizes here are small. Groups usually consist of 2-3 members. A total of 5 fighters are available in the indie title: Judgment - a samurai knight who loves to make wide swings and powerful lunges; Phalanx - a gladiator swordsman with a large blast radius; Vanguard - a nimble champion who prefers to push opponents onto his blade; Ryoku – a ninja rogue who relies on breakdancing; Pure – agile an acrobat skilled in Asian martial arts.
