Cast N Chill represents a fishing system in a series of various lakes, rivers and oceans. The main goal is to catch the prey from water bodies using a fishing rod, because in each location their types of water inhabitants live. In all fishing expeditions, the player is accompanied by a true dog, which is present at each point. A special catalog monitors the progress of the collection of 50 varieties of fish, including freshwater and marine creatures.

Cast N Chill offers two different methods of interaction, allowing you to configure the gameplay for its preferences. The active mode requires direct participation for casting fishing line and pulling the catch, which accelerates the pace of prey. In turn, the passive mode allows the game to work independently, accumulating prey over time without constant control by the gamer.

This simulator also has a window with a variable size - an option designed for the second monitor or for placement next to other programs on one display. The caught fish acts as a resource that is exchanged for profit. The resulting funds are then on the purchase of improvements for game equipment. With new equipment, access to catching those types that were inaccessible with standard gear open. Such an economic cycle from catching, sales and modernization of tackle forms the basis for further advancement, opening access to new territories and allowing to replenish the entire collection.
