On the pirate version of Dark Souls: Remastered you can play for free online with a friend in co-op or online online to fight with random players in PvP mode. A seamless world is available for exploration, the locations of which are interconnected according to the Metroidvania principle. You can relax and save progress at special fires. After the checkpoint at the fire, all enemies will respawn. You can replenish your health in Dark Souls using estus flasks. The online game offers you to go through the entire story campaign together and fight all the bosses.

Combat consists of light and heavy strikes, block, roll and parry. There are melee weapons, ranged weapons and magical attacks. If you successfully parry, you can inflict critical damage, called repost. Humanity is an important element of the gameplay. When dying, the hero loses his human appearance and becomes weaker. You can get out of the hollow form with the help of special objects. The free online play option in Dark Souls: Remastered also allows you to test your strength in PvP battles with other people.

The plot is not presented directly, but is available in the form of hints and descriptions of objects. On your way you can meet such characters as Snuggly Crow, Quilina from Izalith, Andre from Astora, Kaas the Dark Hunter and many others. The main bosses are the Naked Sith, the Bed of Chaos, the demon of Refuge, the Four Kings, Sif the Great Wolf and other monsters.
