Dead Island 2 is a continuation of the first-person zombie action game of the same name. The events of the game start a few months after the end of the first game. The hero finds himself in the center of a zombie apocalypse and somehow miraculously survives. Now he must confront the army of the living dead, using many guns and melee weapons. The entire arsenal has a scale of strength and impact on the enemy.

The player will move across a vast area, completing various quests and instructions from surviving NPCs. The main task will be not only survival, but also the search for survivors. The protagonist collects many resources, including money, water, provisions and much more. There is a stamina scale. It is spent for any action performed, be it swinging a weapon, running or jumping. As you progress through Dead Island 2, new locations will open up to explore, introducing new quests and heroes. By killing the undead and completing missions, the hero receives experience points, which he can spend on additional abilities. In total, there are 3 branches of development: Rage, Weapon Mastery and Survival, which allows you to quickly regenerate and replenish health.
