Disco Elysium is an RPG in which a detective must use his skills to conduct a unique investigation. The player will have to interrogate well-developed characters, investigate murders, and, if desired, take bribes. You can become either the savior of the city or the worst disaster for all humanity. All 24 skills are completely different, allowing you to create different combinations to suit your own playstyle. Or you can work out in detail the image for role-playing. Fortunately, an extensive wardrobe of 80 pieces of clothing also helps with this. And let’s not forget about the tools - pistols, flashlights, a tape recorder and even several different psychoactive drugs. And the cherry on the cake - 60 thoughts to ponder in the Thoughts Cabinet.

The dialogue system is very well designed and makes you believe that real people live in the game world, and not static bots. The characters can be helped, or they can be pitted against each other. You can even fall in love with them if you have the desire - the game’s dialogue system allows you to do whatever your heart desires. The same wide freedom of action is given in the gameplay itself. Firstly, there is nothing superfluous or forbidden here - death, taxes, disco and amorous affairs make up the classic list of a seasoned detective of the old school. The player can either investigate a mass murder or kick chairs and investigate small cases. Exploration, manipulation, bribery - it’s all available in a huge open world, from beaches to slums.
