Divinity: Dragon Commander is a fantasy strategy designed for cooperative play on the Internet online, or confrontation. The possibility of free online play allows you to take control of one of the warring factions. The gameplay of Divinity: Dragon Commander is divided into 4 categories: commanding an army - you need to give orders to generals so that they direct air, ground and water troops, controlling the dragon - you can fly into the air and kill enemies with fire, planning tactics - studying the global map while in the air Castle Raven and diplomacy mode, where tactical advice from allies is listened to, helping to influence the future fate of the world.

In the workshop you can improve your skills, hire soldiers and awaken the dragon. The events tell how King Sigurd, the magician Maxos and the Architect used the knowledge of the demon Corvus, thereby creating a powerful army of magical machines. This allowed them to take over Rivellon, uniting its lands into an empire. However, between the heroes stood the dragon girl Aurora, with whom the king and the Architect fell in love. The latter makes a deal with Corvus, as a result of which the girl dies, the Architect himself disappears, Sigurd falls into despair, and his heirs unleash a World War. The player takes on the role of a prince - the son of Aurora and Sigurd.
