Don’t Stare is a stealth platformer that weaves together gameplay and storytelling in a thoughtful and engaging way. You enter the world as an introvert, navigating an environment filled with extroverts who want to make small talk, invite you to a party, or just chat about their day. However, the introvert has his own mission, much more personal than just making new acquaintances. You are not here to join the crowd, but to reunite with old friends who, for unspoken reasons, have grown apart. This is the difficulty: avoid unnecessary acquaintances, but at the same time strive for those that matter.

In Don’t Stare, the world is your playground, but at the same time it is a kind of labyrinth. There are grocery stores, gyms, and houses—all filled with obstacles to jump over, walls to climb, and floors to slide under. Each setting is like its own little puzzle, challenging you to find the best path without attracting too much attention. You don’t move just for the sake of moving. Every action has its own purpose. You’re constantly deciding whether to sneak past undetected or, if the situation calls for it, to parkour to get where you need to go. The physicality of all this is not just window dressing. This is a reflection of the introvert mentality - always looking for a way out, always looking for the path of least resistance.
