At the very beginning they let you choose a protagonist: Lucas Montbarron is a legionnaire who fights with a shield and a sword (and, if necessary, switches to a two-hander); Katarina is a witch who wields firearms and knows how to cast curses; Reinhart is a magician who prefers to be away from enemies away and throw entropy spells at them; Anjali is an archon girl who can turn into a fiery spirit and loves to fight with staves or spears.
