Dungeons and Dragons Lords of Waterdeep provides the opportunity to play online with a friend, fighting for free as a pirate in online multiplayer matches. D&D Lords of Waterdeep takes place in the fictional city of Waterdeep. It is controlled by a mysterious masked society that plays a shadowy political game. The online game invites each participant to take on the role of one of the lords in order to hire conspirators and adventurers who can influence the future of the entire country.

Units must complete various quests to gain control of areas. By receiving money and experience points, you will need to buy new buildings and expand the city. By constructing new buildings, additional skills and abilities are unlocked. Intrigue cards are available that help you perform certain actions and moves. You can also interfere with your opponents using special cards. The gameplay is a turn-based strategy.

The game lasts for 8 rounds. Each player in Dungeons and Dragons Lords of Waterdeep takes turns playing intrigue cards. You can also build structures once a turn. After each round, winning points are awarded. The winner is the one who scores the maximum number of points after the eighth round.
