DUSK is a canonical first-person shooter created in a retro style. The plot is quite simple and clear - there is a small town called DUSK, in its vicinity ruins were discovered that have mystical properties. Many scientists and soldiers came here, studying strange objects and everyone gradually went crazy. They became possessed, and the government surrounded the entire area with a wall. A brave hero was found who entered the forbidden territory in search of these unique artifacts, but was captured by occultists and hung on hooks.

The gamer will have to take control of a nameless person who finds himself in a small room, but with a huge number of enemies. A mystical voice orders the death of the uninvited guest. The protagonist is not unarmed, he has two hooks in his hands, they will help fight off a horde of enemies. You have a huge number of levels at your disposal, and each one has the same task - to get from point “a” to point “b” while staying alive. You need to go through small corridor locations and constantly fire at enemies. They all have incredible strength and breakneck speed, trying to destroy the main character in every possible way. The game has several modes: Story campaign - tells us about the mystical deeds of a dark cult, which is located throughout the city. Endless survival - allows you to enjoy a large-scale meat grinder. Here, enemies attack in waves, after one has been successfully passed, a second one comes, but there are more enemies and they are becoming stronger. Arena DUSKWORLD - allows you to join a team match with players around the world. The one who makes the most kills wins.

The player will have to move through small locations, killing numerous monsters, robots and humanoid creatures. You have complete freedom of action, wander through locations, study objects, learn something new about strange creatures. Various variations of all kinds of weapons are scattered throughout the locations and are already loaded, you can take them and immediately start firing at enemies. The gameplay is divided into two stages. The first is a day, while it lasts you can explore the world around you and find the items necessary for survival: food, weapons and ammunition and learn more about the magical properties of the ruins. The second is night; at the first twilight, the streets begin to fill with various creatures that instantly head towards you.
