The plot originates after the Sawblade attack, which led to the loss of the oil refinery, the death of the Viktor’s ally and the dissolution of the original team. Left without fuel and equipment, it is necessary to collect a functional machine from scrap metal to start recovery. This enterprise is complicated by the approach of the weather phenomenon called the Great Storm, which creates a limited time frame.

Going on an expedition to the desert, you will face frequent battles in transport. In Dust Raiders, these skirmishes are tactical, demanding to give orders to crew members and use the arsenal of weapons against raiders hunting for supplies. In parallel with conflicts, there is a dynamic economy controlled by demand and supply, where random events change market prices. Players should engage in strategic trade by buying and selling goods to maximize profits and finance their operations.

The main plot and side tasks encourage the study of 4 unique territories, from the outskirts of the eternal desert to infected swamps and an abandoned policy. Interaction with the world includes assistance to enclaves and the performance of quests necessary for hiring new team members. The successful completion of these goals opens up access to new details and customization options for the fleet. This development system directly connects the study of locations and the implementation of missions with the improvement of the player’s military and transport functions.
