Game Description
Empires of the Undergrowth is a simulation and real-time strategy game with unique mechanics. In the game you will have to manage a colony of ants. Starting to play as one ant, you will hunt, manage builders, and create a unique hive. The design of your hive will determine whether your colony can survive in this harsh world. Why harsh?
Throughout the game you will face various obstacles. First of all, these are your enemies! The game has spiders, wasps and beetles that want to feast on your fellow creatures and unborn larvae. You also need to take care that your hive is not too damaged later. First of all, the entire colony needs to take care of its queen, who is very fragile and needs constant care.
The story itself and the missions are told from the perspective of a scientist who is making a documentary about the life of ants. You will have to capture territories, and to do this you need to monitor the size of your army. Properly allocate space in the hive so that you always have room in the room to store food. By choosing the exact time of attack and coming from the right side, you will capture more and more lands, which means you will have more food for the colony and the queen. The game also contains tasks for completing which you will get DNA points. With these points, you can improve the ants making them more and more formidable opponents.
