In Falling for Yaoguais, the main character enters the entertainment park, which is controlled by supernatural creatures from Taiwanese folklore. Having settled in appearance to ordinary work, she finds out that this is a trap to attract people as food. The protagonist will have to be disguised as Yaoguay for a secret investigation of the conspiracy underlying the activities of the institution. The girl maneuverates in a brewing conflict between people and inhuman staff, trying to preserve her cover.

Promotion in the plot in Falling for Yaoguais depends on the solutions of the gamer at more than 150 key points. The elections made affect relations with four different Yaoguay and lead a story to one of the five endings. The game process offers four personal finals and one negative outcome.
