Among the companions is an available personal pet in the form of a faithful dog. As for companions of the opposite sex, you can build different relationships with each of them, even romantic ones. The inhabitant of the wasteland is free to go wherever he pleases. You can wander into radiation swamps, hear a radio signal from the local police station and respond to a distress call, witnessing a bloody massacre, thus starting a chain of mysterious quests.
