Game Description

In the pixel quest Finding Paradise with an isometric space, there is a corporation - Sigmund Corp. Special agents - Eva Rosalin and Neil Watts - became participants in the realization of the dream of one of the people - Colin Reeds. This man is dying, so our heroes undertake to make his last wishes come true. Arriving at his house, you see how doctors prepare his body and brain, connecting Colin to a special machine that allows you to plunge into his memories and find yourself in an interactive virtual reality.

Colin had one condition: that his memory remain intact. The two heroes discover that Reedz’s memories are moving in the wrong rhythm: it’s an anomaly of sorts. If an ordinary person’s memories begin from the last moment - from old age to childhood, then the patient’s memory works like a spiral - from old age to early childhood, back, and again along the same spiral. Because of this movement, our heroes find themselves in a gravitational center.

We see how Colin was truly happy in the second half of his life. He was a civil aviation pilot, lived quite happily with his family, but at one point a turning point comes, due to which the patient turned to Sigmund Corp to get rid of part of the memories or replace them, but he protests against getting rid of memory fragments about his wife and son.

In the game itself, we have to collect items and fight those who are trying to defend areas of memory. We will also solve puzzles, which in Finding Paradise take on the guise of the most moral kind. Our main task is to look for such fragments of memory that can send us to earlier memories.

Thus, you create a whole picture that moves you towards the development of the plot, but does not reveal the main message until the very end. The plot reveals to us a certain boy who goes through his whole life in these pictures, so Gorogoa can be called a philosophical parable in which the protagonist will grow up, look at the world differently, and after that he will grow old and begin to reflect on the past.
