Forest Heroes combines Tower Defense elements with Roguelike Deckbuilding. The place of action is the Nokflufol, the forest that flourished under the auspices of the elves who own mushroom magic. However, the offended oak imposed a curse on the ground, distorting it. In the role of an elf-guardian, the player’s task is to rally the allies-living ones for rebuke. The main mission is to defend the operating base and clean the surrounding area from the influence of the curse in order to restore the area to its original state.

The gameplay in the Forest Heroes is built around the defense of the mushroom -bubble - the base necessary for the purification of the Earth and the draft of the allies. This structure must be protected from continuous waves of advancing opponents, the onslaught of which stops only after winning their boss. A limited supply of mana should be distributed to expose animal detachments against enemy forces. Players also use skills, pushing the advanced lines and controlling the battlefield during fights in real time.

The power of opponents grows as the intra -game cycle is changed from day to twilight and night. To prevail, the gamer army must be strengthened accordingly. This progress includes obtaining various animal maps to compile a deck. Dreviated creatures can be equipped with hats that give certain enhancing effects. The strategy is also formed by collecting maps of elven skills and artifacts, which are components for the task of performing a task and achieving a triumph in Hack and Slash spray.
