FTL: Faster Than Light - this project is a two-dimensional simulator of a space combat ship. The creation and publication of this media product was carried out by the Subset Games studio. The official release took place in the first half of autumn 2012. The gameplay is based on the interaction between the player and the crew of the combat starship.

The success of this space tactical strategy will depend on how successful this cooperation is. Don’t forget about the races, of which there are 8 in the game! These are people who excel in learning specialties; Angies, who quickly repair equipment, but are completely clumsy in hand-to-hand combat; Slugs that can see right through your ships; Crystallins - the oldest, most powerful race - practically do not lose health where there is no oxygen. You can get acquainted with other races during the game.

As you overcome the difficulties of the key story mission, you will more than once have to choose between saving your ship and all the people on board, or fearlessly engaging in battle with superior enemy forces on pain of death. Run, surrender or fight to the last - these are the three roads between which you will navigate your turn over and over again. If enemies shoot your engine, decide on the supply of energy to the affected area, send mechanics there, or immediately strike back: energy is always consumed unilaterally, which greatly complicates the process of passing. But at any moment you can stop time and assess your position, and then go to upgrade a separate part of the ship or base.
