Game Description

An entertaining puzzle quest, made in a non-standard genre for a computer game. While playing Gorogoa, the player must match images on the screen in a 2x2 grid, where each image has some kind of animated meaning or message. Thus, you create a whole picture that moves you towards the development of the plot, but does not reveal the main message until the very end.

The plot reveals to us a certain boy who goes through his whole life in these pictures, so Gorogoa can be called a philosophical parable in which the protagonist will grow up, look at the world differently, and after that he will grow old and begin to reflect on the past. In the very first scenes, we are introduced to a monster who will lead the protagonist through a colorful landscape that gradually turns into the consequences of war - wasteland, ruins, death.

On our screen there will be several components of the picture that will help us move further through the plot. For example, we always know half of an animated image, and we must find a logical conclusion to it. If there is a tree with an apple on top, and we have a picture with a bowl for apples, then we can pick this apple by simply moving the picture.

The entire game is an interactive graphic novel, the essence of which the player must figure out on his own, which is extremely difficult. The development of the project lasted 6 years, and during this time it was condemned, accepted, criticized, but recognized.
