The GTA 4 network game allows you to go through missions together, steal cars, run away from the police and much more. The story campaign includes 88 missions. There are many side quests available.

The possibility of free online play is aimed at cooperation and confrontation. The city consists of several districts and islands. A wide arsenal of weapons is presented, consisting of 15 types of guns: pistols, shotguns, machine guns, grenade launchers, etc. Melee and thrown weapons are available in Grand Theft Auto 4. Secondary activities include tasks such as police missions, hijacking missions, unique jumps, racing, killing and shooting pigeons. The main character of the adventure is Niko. He is able to hide behind surrounding objects and shoot from behind cover. You can fight in close combat.

Depending on the shot to any part of the body, the character receives a corresponding injury. Any vehicle can be stolen. It can be a car, truck, sports car, police car, motorcycle, boat and helicopter. Districts are opening gradually. To open new islands, you need to complete story missions. If you break the law, the police begin to hunt for the hero. There are 5 levels of violations in total. Niko is pursued by patrols, helicopters, special forces, federal agents and the National Guard.

Two endings are presented, depending on the player’s actions during the campaign. Both endings are connected with the protagonist’s brother, Roman. There are also 2 major Episodes From Liberty City expansions available. The EFLC collection includes major story addons: The Lost and Damned - a story about the Lost biker club and Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony - an episode about Luis Lopez, who works for gay Tony, a local nightclub owner.
