Game Description

GUARDS! invites you to play online with a friend in the dark streets of New Alested, a city infested with corruption and crime. This free-to-play co-op fantasy FPS online game for 1-4 players pits you against three rival factions vying for control of the city. You can play as a pirate, donning the steel boots of the city guard and restoring law and order by any means necessary. Fast-paced online action on the Internet will force you to be on your toes: knock down doors, catch criminals and wreak havoc on the cityscape.

The underground of New Alested is infested with vile characters - the Vogtuff Boys, the Commission and the Corpse Cult. Each faction presents a unique challenge - from the brute force of orcs to the zombified followers of the Cult. Moving through the dirty streets, you will have to make your way through the criminal hierarchy to find and destroy the leaders. The game emphasizes teamwork, with players relying on each other to survive the onslaught of enemies who won’t politely wait their turn to attack.

IN GUARDS! uses a “use everything” approach to combat. Players can use traditional weapons along with improvised means such as boxes, barrels and even dismembered limbs. The environment becomes your arsenal as you battle to complete various missions, from arrests to VIP escorts. Before storming criminal hideouts, you must conduct intense surveillance to gather information and plan your attack. However, as the old saying goes, no plan survives first contact with the enemy. You’ll have to think on your feet and adapt to the chaos that will ensue when the fighting begins.
