Game Description

Horizon Zero Dawn is an action game in the world of a post-apocalyptic future, in which the world is inhabited by robotic dinosaurs that destroyed modern civilization. The few surviving people formed into small primitive tribes and resist mechanical monsters using primitive weapons combined with high technology.

The main character of Horizon Zero Dawn is a girl named Aloy. She was raised by a man named Rast, who is an Outcast. One day, while hunting, Aloy ends up in an abandoned laboratory, where she finds the Visar device, with which she can see augmented reality. To get into the Nora tribe, a girl needs to undergo the Initiation Rite. However, the tribe is raided by the cultist Helis and the settlement is destroyed. The heroine goes in pursuit of the killer. During her journey, she learns many secrets related to her origin and the formation of the world as she knows it now.

In the protagonist’s arsenal there is a bow with various types of arrows, including explosive and incendiary projectiles, bombs, a slingshot, etc. Aloy uses a unique device - a thread gun, which allows her to slow down the enemy’s movement using cables. Destroying robotic creatures, the heroine collects parts and mechanisms from their bodies, allowing her to craft various items and improvements. By hunting common animals, Aloy can create medicines, traps, quivers and bags from skins and bones.

A large open world consisting of various biomes is available for exploration. Each new location is inhabited by different types of dinosaurs: Rider, Scavenger, Lentorog, Thunderclap, Fireskin, etc. While tracking a robot called Longnose, you can mark all minor activities and points of interest on the map. The game includes a full set of add-ons, including the Frozen Wilds story addon, where a new storyline and several additional types of enemies and weapons are available.
