I wanna be The Cat is a unique roguelite platformer inspired by the fantasy game I wanna be the Guy. This online game pits players against feline versions of famous video game characters in their quest to win the coveted title of THE CAT. Now it’s even more fun to play online with a friend: you can enjoy the pirate game for free, trying your hand at over 2,000 levels created by the community. Every time you play online online, thanks to intelligent world generation, a new unique experience awaits you.

The game offers three different modes to suit different playstyles. In single player mode, players start with 100 lives and must complete the game without using them all up. You can purchase items, skills, and extra lives from shops scattered along the route. Permanent upgrades become available after each playthrough, giving you a sense of progress. The mode features 12 formidable bosses, ready to test all the players' skills. Race mode pits up to eight players against each other in fast-paced, randomly generated competitions. The Magic Tower mode, unlocked by beating the game on Hard difficulty, is a key puzzle game that adds an additional 5 hours of gameplay.

I wanna be The Cat prides itself on its responsive controls and the huge variety of items and power-ups available to players.
