Insurgency is a tactical shooter, presented with the ability to play online with a friend or other people online, participating as a pirate for free in various confrontation modes. Mutiny allows you to fight online in cooperative and team matches. The action takes place during the events of the Iranian War. The online game relies on realism and heavy weapon physics.

The possibility of free online play allows you to take control of one of two opposing factions: US PMC employees and Iranian rebels. In each of them there are departments in which you can take on one or another task. Another feature of the gameplay is that there is no HUD at all. Opponents are killed from several shots or one precise hit to the head. You can participate in multiplayer battles with up to 32 players. Each team has 16 people. 8 Insurgency modes: Push - capture of three points on the map; Firefight - battle for a neutral point on a location; Skirmish - defense of a special cache; Occupy - analogue of the King of the Hill mode; Ambush - escort of a VIP; Strike - classic attack and defense; Infiltrate - capture the flag; Flashpoint - control the territory and all caches.

Three cooperative games are available: Checkpoint, Hunt, Survival. You will have to fight with 20 types of guns on 27 unique maps. Actions cover 12 points of the world. Offline training mode introduced. Each class wields a unique weapon and fights using individual tactics. By receiving equipment points, you need to buy new skills, weapons, customize and improve your character in every possible way by attaching various devices to your uniform, reducing the weight of armor, increasing the speed of the hero, etc.
