Isonzo is a tactical shooter that allows you to join forces with a friend on a pirate ship for free to fight in intense and realistic shootouts online online. Isonzo takes place during the First World War. You can play online either in one team or in versus mode. The online game allows you to fight in the vastness of picturesque peaks, rocky locations and take part in shootouts in the cities of northern Italy. The main multiplayer mode is Capture. It is dedicated to historical events on the Italian front.

The gameplay allows you to lead a squad of fighters, cut barbed wire, move through trenches, aim artillery, etc. There are sandbags located on the battlefields that can be used for tactical purposes. The possibility of free online play offers entire squads to fight with each other. You can install ammunition boxes, dig trenches, assign snipers and much more.

Events begin during the sixth battle of the Isonzo. The last battle is dedicated to the Punitive Expedition. You will need to storm foothill fortresses, fight on city streets, etc. You can request air support or indicate your location with flares. Melee combat is available if you have an Arditi dagger or an ice ax. The arsenal includes heavy machine guns, mortars, mountain guns and other smaller caliber weapons. In total, more than 30 types of guns are available.

Characters are represented by 6 classes. Each player individually customizes the equipment specific to a particular class. You will need to take additional tools with you into battle. For example, wire cutters, bandages for dressing or a whistle. The gameplay is aimed at realism. One hit can kill or cause severe bleeding. You can smoke out enemies using poison gas, grenades, etc.
