Game Description

Journey is a 2D adventure that lets you travel online with a friend. All network functions of the project are available for free on the pirate site. Local co-op and online playthroughs are available. The story centers on a red, scarfed figure whose goal is to cross the vast desert. The long path leads to the mountain, which serves as the highest point in the Journey. Online play allows you to join forces with a partner to overcome obstacles together.

Control involves jumping. You can make a wordless cry. There are sounds of a musical note when you press the corresponding button. The strength and duration of the scream depends on how long you hold the button. The levitation mechanic is included in the free online game feature. The scarf has magical properties, allowing you to briefly fly into the air and soar. It is charged using the appropriate runes. To charge the scarf, you need to fly near scraps of red clothing. By turning objects into red energy, you can build bridges, cause various effects, etc. The goal of each level is to open the door to a new location. Allows you to find hidden and inaccessible places.

Without hands, there is no way to interact with the environment directly. The creatures encountered along the way are represented by various flying creatures that look like scraps of clothing. They are often helpful, but at the end of the adventure some of them are hostile. Another player joining the adventure can charge their partner’s scarf if they come close to them. Communication is carried out exclusively through singing. Each character has their own unique symbols on their scarves. You can complete levels together to move on to new stages at the same time. The story campaign is completed in 2-3 hours of real time.
