Killing Floor 2 is a cooperative shooter that offers the opportunity to play online as a pirate with a friend, competing for free in various confrontation modes or participating in cooperative matches online online. The online game is divided into two components: Survival and Versus. All competitions offer matches with unique mechanics. Also available in Killing Floor 2 are various features for all competitions and various modifiers.

In survival mode, six people find themselves in one huge arena, where they must destroy many ordinary enemies and a powerful boss. You will need to survive the waves. They can consist of 4, 7 or 10 waves of enemies. Each subsequent one includes more and more opponents. After the match ends, you need to go to the Merchant to buy new equipment and weapons.

For killing enemies, money is awarded. You also accumulate experience, which allows you to buy various perks and skills. The free online play option adjusts the difficulty of the monsters depending on the number of participants. The game ends when the boss is defeated. Solo mode allows you to fight off bloodthirsty creatures alone.

Versus matches have some differences. Here two teams of 6 people fight each other. One side of the conflict plays for the people, and the second controls the evil spirits. The number of waves is 4 and, unlike the previous mode, the number cannot be set. The team that scores the most points wins. Each monster or fighter is endowed with unique abilities.
