Game Description

Kingdom’s Deck presents a card-based experience that combines city building with nightly repelling attacks. Gamers will become rulers of the lands, faced with the task of expanding their personal possessions and at the same time ensuring the safety of the inhabitants from enemy attacks. Gameplay focuses on deck building and the strategic placement of these assets to control and develop a power. The main actions alternate between the construction of structures during daylight hours and the organization of the defense of fortifications at nightfall.

Responding appropriately to various emerging events also shapes the development and stability of the kingdom over time. Survival and territorial growth represent central challenges in Kingdom’s Deck. The ruler must actively take care of the needs of the population, gather military units and strengthen the central settlement against constant external threats. Progression and stability are highly dependent on the collected collection of cards, since each element of the deck has a special function: establishing food production, collecting materials, or building defensive structures around the perimeter.

Military power is similarly developed through the play of special deck elements designed to recruit or improve units. Therefore, effective leadership requires careful selection of cards and their precise, timely placement on the map for maximum effect in the game. The area depicted in this game faces constant danger from advancing enemy forces, making long periods of calm rare throughout the playthrough.
