The events take place in a fictional world where the main character named Kitaria lives. Everything around is in harmony and calm until a certain point. Suddenly, creatures in the wild near Paws' settlement become aggressive, and the Empire tasks Kitaria with finding out what is happening. In addition, she will have to help residents and fight off hostile creatures. And given the presence of multiplayer, users can do this together, acting online over the Internet.

The sense of gameplay in Kitaria Fables follows the principles of the RPG genre. Players are in an open world divided into zones and districts. These can be forests, clearings, settlements with residents and other places. Depending on the location, different units (hostile and friendly) can be based in a particular area. The first will attack the characters at the first eye contact, while the others can be used to receive quests, buy equipment or sell valuable items. Merchant shops can be located not only in cities, but also in more remote areas of the map, and there you can also purchase the necessary items. During dialogues, all remarks are displayed in a frame, conveying the emotional state of the one who utters the phrase.

The combat system looks impressive and forces you to constantly monitor what is happening on the screen. Depending on their size, opponents have different attack speeds and damage inflicted. Therefore, it is important to monitor their movements and not expose themselves to sweeping attacks. Network play allows you to act together, dealing with a large number of opponents in a short period of time. And given that the number of available weapons and equipment is not limited, the possibility of free online play will allow you to upgrade your characters to the fullest, reaching the highest possible levels.
