Game Description
Last Term is a plunge into an endless nightmare, where a mysterious deity imprisoned the protagonist within the walls of a school. The main task is to escape from this time loop, for which you need to go down to the ground floor of the building. The way out of the vicious circle of repeating locations lies through attention to detail and the ability to distinguish the norm from the terrible deviations embedded in the familiar environment. The path to freedom is determined by correct decisions based on observation.
While going down or up the floors, the hero is forced to constantly analyze the environment, which consists of three key areas: the corridor, the classroom and the restroom. If anomalies are noticed in the situation, the right path is down; otherwise, when everything seems ordinary, you should go upstairs. Progress in Last Term directly depends on the ability to remember the smallest details and notice subtle or, conversely, shocking changes in the interior. Some of these anomalies are interactive, leading to unintended consequences and deepening the climate of fear.
To systematize observations, a special journal is provided in which all detected oddities are recorded. Collecting records of anomalies becomes a separate goal, revealing the full range of terrifying metamorphoses occurring at the school. Which of the four possible endings awaits the captive at the end of this psychological test depends on actions and attentiveness. Every decision brings you inexorably closer to either long-awaited salvation or eternal imprisonment in this ghostly educational institution.
