Game Description
The LEGO VOYAGERS starts a journey when two friends decide to save an abandoned spaceship. Gamers assume the role of individual cubes, moving around the environment, entirely assembled from plastic parts. Protagonists somersault, jump and actively interact with the world, pursuing their goal in a series of abstract, but picturesque landscapes. This initial task gives the start of a large adventure focused on teamwork and the importance of mutual assistance, creating the basis for a series of tests requiring the coordinated actions of two partners.
The passage of the various worlds of Lego Voyages depends entirely on cooperative actions. Two players have to constantly combine their abilities, physically fastening cubic forms to create new objects or whole structures that help overcome obstacles. Local riddles are often tied to physics, requiring accurate calculation of time and joint construction for effective manipulations with the environment. All this game experience is available both in the local and in network mode, allowing partners to overcome numerous tests of the campaign together and proving that two cubes are more effective than one.
The poetic, wordless narrative of this project is revealed through interaction with locations completely collected from cubes. The plot without a single dialogue explores the deep topics of friendship, general aspirations and mutual support. Each colorful world reflects its own separate stage of travel, bringing meaning through its own device and the unique requirements of cooperative gameplay. The main idea is that creative challenges are best accepted together, which closely connects the narrative with the cooperative basis of the whole game from beginning to end.
