In Liftoff FPV Drone Racing, users can take their first steps towards the sport of quadcopter racing. Detailed physics, motion models, and consideration of “external” factors (such as weather conditions) were brought to perfection with the help of scientific works and recommendations of professional pilots. In addition, this project is a platform where users can share their ideas and developments, as well as their own designed routes.
The gameplay supports FPV goggle technology and a variety of control panels from real drones. With this, the line between controlling a real quadcopter and a gaming, virtual alternative is further blurred. Each player can test their piloting skills on a familiar device, hone their skills and try risky turns in virtual reality before transferring their experience to a real device.
