
Game Description
Mage and Monsters 2 opens the battlefield on which the hired hero leads the army to an automatic battle. During these battles, the player actively supports his forces, using spells with a view of the top. Further development is determined by the strategic elections accepted between the battles and focused on the strengthening of the hero’s personal power, strengthen the troops or increase the potential of magic. The decisions made directly affect the effectiveness of autonomously acting units and determine the course of fantasy war.
The configuration process begins with the choice of one of the 12 heroes as a strategic basis. As the Mage and Monsters 2 campaign develops, access to a system of more than 100 different improvements that allow specializing the selected approach and character opens. A collection of 13 unique spells is also used in battle for direct intervention and support of the army. These elements provide numerous combinations for the development of the hero and his auxiliary forces during one game passage, formed by decisions important for the outcome of the conflict.
The formation of the troops is a central component; 25 different types of fighters are available for hiring. More than 50 diverse types of enemies, including dragons, are opposed to collected detachments. The battles unfold on 3 unique maps, each of which offers a special test that requires tactical adjustments. Management of these fighters is critical for the successful passage of military scenarios on each map, since this game uses the mechanics of permanent death, erasing all the progress after defeat.
