Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 can be played online with a friend for free by teaming up to complete the campaign online online. The gameplay is a superhero action game based on the Civil War comic book series. Multiplayer allows up to four players to team up to take on Victor Von Doom, the iconic Marvel villain from the Fantastic Four franchise.

The combat system allows you to launch joint attacks, performing powerful fusion strikes. Each hero has unique abilities. Free online play includes control of heroes such as Deadpool, Gambit, Human Torch, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Blade and many other characters. All protagonists have additional costumes and their own alternative versions. By fighting enemies, superheroes improve their skills and level up. The mechanics of the sequel Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 are in many ways similar to the cult cooperative action game X-Men Legends.

The plot starts from Castle Duma in Latveria. Nick Fury assembles a team of Iron Man, Captain America and other heroes to carry out Operation Secret War. However, they get involved in a confrontation with the army of the Lords of Evil led by Reckless. The organization protects Doom and prevents the protagonists from carrying out their plans. They manage to kill several main characters and 612 civilians. As a result, the Superhero Registration Act is introduced. Here you need to make a choice on which side to take: accept the alliance of Iron Man, who takes the side of the law, or Captain America, who has chosen the path of anti-registration. The ending of the adventure depends on the choice.
