On the pirate game Marvel vs Capcom Infinite you can fight with a friend or play online for free against other players, controlling fighters from different franchises: Marvel superheroes and Capcom characters. There are local modes or you can compete online online in various multiplayer championships. The gameplay is inspired by Street Fighter X Tekken, from which all the main mechanics are borrowed. The online game Marvel vs Capcom Infinite allows teams of two to fight. 2v2 battles give you the ability to switch between characters at any time. When competing in teams, each participant can control a separate hero. There are two modes for changing fighters: normal and after performing a devastating combination. The possibility of free online play is represented by classic version modes and team championships.

The main competitive mode is called Infinity Stones. In it you need to select 6 stones: Strength, Mind, Soul, Time and Space. Each stone provides tactical advantages: increasing strength or providing access to various abilities. For example, the Reality Stone makes it possible to use firearms. The stones have 2 activation levels: Splash and Flurry. Activation determines battle tactics. The fighters are Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Dante, Nemesis, Chris Redfield, Ryu, Chun Li and others. All heroes have an individual set of attacks, grabs and super attacks. Non-playable characters from two universes appear. For example, Ultron Omega only appears as the final boss.
