Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a plot branch from the original universe of the recognized genius Hideo Kojima. The game is in the slasher genre, unlike other Metal Gear projects. The plot is dedicated to the story of the cyber ninja Raiden, the protagonist of the second part.

4 years have passed since the collapse of the evil Sons of Patriots corporation. The military units, given freedom of action, plunged the world into chaos and constant divisions of power zones. Raiden is forced to return to his craft and, among Maverick Security Consulting, protect the Prime Minister of an African country from a possible terrorist attack with the aim of kidnapping. But the bad guys from Desperado Enforcement had other plans, they attacked the convoy, killed the politician and maimed the main character.

The combat looks epic thanks to a large number of special effects. Lots of combos will make your attack more varied, and the process of getting a big combo will be fun and not the most difficult. The main feature of the game completes the picture - with the help of the protagonist’s katana, you can cut almost any object. This applies to both the environment and enemies. Defeating the last enemy, the slow-mo mode will turn on, the player will be asked to draw lines along which Raiden will deliver his sharp blows and cut the poor opponent into pieces. It leaves a lasting impression.

The main enemies will be cyborgs and robots of various shapes and types: three-armed balls, robotic monkeys, mechs with powerful legs, and so on. There are also a sufficient number of weapons: throwing sais, a fighting pole with mechanical arms, grenades, bazookas and two-handed swords. All this is in addition to the hero’s initial equipment. Revengeance is a rather interesting spin-off for both fans of the genre and fans of the Metal Gear universe.
