Game Description

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, the second installment in the popular UNS series, allows you to play online and with a friend, providing free online play. Now fans can enjoy exciting battles online online without resorting to using pirated copies - because the game is available for free. Across 23 levels spanning nine chapters and one extra chapter, players can experience unique aspects of online play by activating powerful combos and jutsu in Awakening mode. Even guest character from Tekken 6, Lars Alexandersson, can join the fights in this exciting sequel.

As you progress through the story, jutsu and Ultimate Jutsu for specific characters become available. Support characters return with interesting upgrades. Players can choose between Guard, Attack, and Balanced support types, which affects their actions during the first level of Support Drive. This level starts automatically when support characters are summoned enough times. Depending on the type and actions of the player, support characters will appear on their own, without resetting the charge, even if it is not full. However, the player cannot manually summon a support character who has already done so automatically.

For example, a support character set to defend will automatically block enemy charges while the player charges chakra. Attack type support helps in combos and knocks opponents back. Balanced characters throw projectiles along with the player and block Ultimate Jutsus, temporarily canceling their support. The second level of Support Drive unlocks Team Ultimate Jutsu, a powerful technique activated by repeatedly pressing the chakra and attack buttons. It consumes a significant amount of chakra, but deals enormous damage to unprotected opponents.

Unlike the free-roaming nature of the original game, the sequel uses traditional JRPG screens and movement. Players go beyond the Leaf Village, traversing forests, deserts, and even the Hidden Sand Village. Boss battles return with added quick-time events and cutscenes. Online features include casual quick matches, ranked matches with leaderboards, match customization, and the ability to host matches.
