Game Description
Night Jackal Blood Debt follows a masked vigilante whose sanity is on edge after a brutal attack on his estate shatters his way of life. Taking on the guise of the Night Jackal, this anti-hero, driven by the desire for retribution, begins his crusade on the streets of the city. Justice is restored to them using their own, often brutal, methods, and the story itself explores the development of a superhero who gradually loses control in attempts to take revenge for the past.
Initially, all the collected evidence points to the protagonist’s long-time enemy - the elusive Bert the Barbarian. However, as the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that behind this crime lies something larger than personal revenge on the part of one villain. The protagonist of Night Jackal: Blood Debt must uncover a complex conspiracy, constantly balancing between the role of the arbiter of justice and complete madness, in order to ultimately pay off his bloody debt.
The gameplay reflects the dual nature of the character, offering both furious shootouts and the ability to covertly eliminate opponents. The classic shooter formula is enriched by puzzles and unusual situations, including missions in underwater levels. The visual style of the project takes inspiration from the original comics, and some of the graphic materials were created by industry veteran Derek Donovan, who had a hand in creating the images of Superman and Spider-Man.
