Game Description

OneShot is an adventure puzzle game with Metroidvania elements. As Niko, you interact with both the character and the world. The gameplay invites you to go through an inventive quest in which you need to find a variety of objects, combining them with each other and using them on the environment, which will allow you to advance through the plot. Stylistically, OneShot is a 2D game from a top-down perspective. The plot begins at the moment when Niko awakens in a dark and mystical world. He finds a computer through which he interacts directly with the player. Later, the protagonist finds the sun, which is represented by an ordinary light bulb.

Having set out on a journey, the hero meets the Robot Prophet, who tells him that Niko’s appearance was predicted and he is the Messiah. The Chosen One must return the real sun to the world, so from now on he must reach the top of the tallest tower. The robot also says that the hero is helped by God himself, who is the player. You need to guide the protagonist through three large locations: the Barrens, the Glen and the Refuge. Levels feature unique enemies and characters. When you get to the Tower, you have to make a difficult moral choice: save the Sun, but not get home, or break the light bulb, plunging the inhabitants into eternal darkness, but return to your family.
