The idea of ​​the most hardcore survival simulator in a strategic shell - Oxygen Not Included - shows that maintaining your own base and several people on it is incredibly difficult. The lower the happiness of our settlers, the more they protest, the worse they work and cope with their tasks. It is important that most settlers have individual character. Fortunately, the developers made not several hundred players, but only a dozen.

The reality of the simulator is off scale. For example, in order for your people to feel comfortable on the new asteroid that you choose at the beginning, they need a full-fledged base. To upgrade it, you need to get out of the building and climb into the gorges to get fossils. After this, the settlers will want a sufficient amount of food with a “spare”, and then they will demand a car for recreation. Once they start consuming everything in their path, you have waste that leads to a series of diseases. Thus, in the game we will cope with one problem, which immediately gives rise to another.

Colonists will have their own skill, which is determined while performing work. For example, some will find it easy to learn and make plans; someone finds it easy to dig because the use of a tool is not new to him; some will be great at creating creative solutions to problems. Everyone does their job, but you must carefully monitor the bladder fullness, stress, and “busyness” of your settlers.
