Patapon 1+2 Replay puts a player at the head of creatures called Patapones. As their deity, you give orders, tapping combinations on 4 mystical drums, and this mechanics underlie the entire process. Each bit - Pata, Pon, Don and Chuck - develops into rhythmic sequences for commands of movement, attack and defense. The goal is to bring the tribe to the expedition to the location of the Hushraele, overcoming obstacles. This approach requires a constant sense of rhythm to manage forces during battles.

Four drums for total control over the tribe:

The march team forward to promote locations. Order to attack the nearest opponents. A team for holding defense and blocking damage. Call to the retreat or implementation of a special maneuver.

The formation of the army is the key aspect of Patapon 1 Plus 2 Replay, since the strategy depends on the composition of the detachment. The tribe consists of various classes, each of which performs a special function in the PVE stands. Hatapon is in the center, holding the banner, and the unit Tatepon uses a shield to protect. A class of Yumipon, releasing arrows in enemies from the rear, is responsible for attacks at the distance. The combination of these fighters determines the tactical approach and effectiveness in battles with different opponents.

You can create new pataps and improve existing ones using objects collected during the gameplay. Resources for creating and strengthening fighters are mined at levels and in special mini-games. The game contains 400 different types of weapons and equipment that can be found and applied. These elements of equipment allow you to directly pump warriors, giving the opportunity to collect an army ready to meet with certain types of enemies and barriers.
