Persona 4 Golden is a role-playing game about a group of friends who are able to summon demons from the other world. To do this, it is enough to shoot yourself in the temple. The events take place in the small Japanese town of Inaba. The children in Persona 4 are teenagers going through puberty. The heroes are investigating a mysterious series of murders.

The gameplay of Persona 4 Golden contains elements of a visual novel. During the passage, the protagonist and allies will meet different characters who will tell individual stories or ask you to carry out simple tasks. The dialogue wheel allows you to select lines that influence the characters’ attitudes. The RPG component is represented by trips to dungeons, where you will meet many enemies. The combat system is presented in a turn-based style. At the end of the location, chests with loot await.

Heroes attack with light and enhanced attacks, and also use additional items. Allies summon one person at a time, while the protagonist uses more than two. Attacks are divided into several types: fire, wind, physical and almighty. Some characters have weaknesses to various attacks or, conversely, resistance to blows or elements. The “Decisive Offensive” attack will require energy expenditure, but can cause colossal damage to all opponents.

Monsters are unlocked as you progress through the story and after defeating opponents. Persons are pumped up and their characteristics increase. The gameplay allows you to live the life of an ordinary schoolchild: during the daytime, the protagonist studies or plays truant, communicates with friends, goes fishing, plays sports and many other activities. When interacting with friends, the Social links skill increases, providing bonuses for both the hero and party members.
