Plants vs. Zombies Replanted is a tactical survival test where every defeat forces you to start all over again. In a special mode called Rest in Peace, players will have to face the consequences of their mistakes without the right to correct them, because the mechanics of permanent death return you to the very beginning of the journey. The conditions for completing each race are determined by the eccentric character Crazy Dave, who provides a limited and sometimes completely random set of plants for defense.

This approach shifts the focus from long-term planning to the need to quickly adapt and survive in constantly changing circumstances. In addition to single-player challenges, the project offers a variety of multiplayer formats. Organized interaction in cooperative mode allows you to join forces to repel attacks, but even in a cooperative game there is an element of competition for resources. The weather mechanics in the Cloudy Day mode also make significant changes to the usual process.

With the onset of cloudy weather, Sunflowers stop producing the Sun’s resource, falling asleep until clear weather returns, which forces a radical rethink of tactics and energy management. All of these innovations expand on the classic Plants vs. formula. Zombies: Replanted. At its core, this title remains true to the traditions of the original defensive strategy. Returning to the screens provides a meeting with such familiar plants as Peashooters and Cabbage Pulpers, which again become the main line of defense against the invasion of the living dead.
