Game Description

PRIM is a point-and-click adventure game made in a monochrome style. The game is inspired by the works of Tim Burton. Events take place in the Land of the Dead. At the center of the story is the Angel of Death, nicknamed Thanatos. He can’t get started with the job of collecting souls because he can’t deal with his teenage daughter, Prim.

The girl suffers from nightmares. Every night she sees the same dream. An unknown boy keeps calling for help. She is constantly trying to do something, but the Grim Reaper forbids her to even move, otherwise she will enter the kingdom of the living. If the girl can get there, she will receive incredible power.

PRIM’s story focuses on issues of fathers and sons. The main storyline is about the father learning to let go. The daughter is growing right before our eyes and is learning a lot about herself. The heroine reveals herself as a person. The game is full of supernatural abilities and mysticism. Prim is able to cross between two realms, facing demons, both figuratively and formally.

The heroine does not travel alone. In her company is an old friend - an arachnid boy. All animations are hand-drawn, referencing Burton’s classic cartoon works. The interface is very simple, and control is tied to finding objects and solving puzzles. The campaign is completed in 6-8 hours of real time. The ability to switch between heroes is available. There is a hint system and an exciting card mini-game.
